There is nothing we love more as photographers than being able to capture images that we know will bring back all of the emotions from the day. Proposals are a BIG moment. For the couple, for the family, for friends. It is the moment that begins wedding plans. It is the moment when people go from being a girlfriend to being a fiancé.

Every year, Libby’s family throws a giant 4th of July BBQ for their family & friends. Julie (Libby’s mom) called me and ask if I would be able to capture the moment when Eddie proposed during the BBQ. We were ALL IN.

When we walked into the BBQ, Julie came and greeted me. Of course, we had never met anyone before, so we immediately told Libby that Julie & I were co-workers and she had invited me to the BBQ last minute! It worked, thankfully! Also – SUPER glad that Libby didn’t ask anything about work, because I had NO idea what Julie did. Ha! We blended in, and made ourselves look like guests. Also, thank the Lord for giant purses that hide multiple cameras and lenses for Kyle & I.
