Aaron & Colleen. You are going to just love these two. After looking at this post, you are going to want to call these 2 up and meet them at Trappers for some sushi. I know that’s what WE want to do.
We had the best time getting to know Aaron & Colleen during their engagement session. Colleen is from Ohio, and when we met up to drink some coffee & eat a cheeseboard – she told me that for their engagement session, she wanted it to feel like Washington. So, Operation Pacific Northwest Engagement Session? SIGN ME UP.
Well, Colleen, I think we did it! We jumped in Aaron’s truck with some Jimmy John’s sandwiches and drove to Snoqualmie Pass for their golden hour engagement session. This is one of the things I love about the Pacific Northwest. That we have so many beautiful locations all within driving distance of our houses. I loved being able to
Golden Hour will forever get all of the heart eyes from us. The light is consistent, not too harsh, and has a warm glow.
Take a peek, this session gives us all the #pnw Vibes. You know what I mean?

Kels & Kyle
There is nothing we love more as photographers than being able to capture images that we know will bring back all of the emotions from the day. Proposals are a BIG moment. For the couple, for the family, for friends. It is the moment that begins wedding plans. It is the moment when people go from being a girlfriend to being a fiancé.
Every year, Libby’s family throws a giant 4th of July BBQ for their family & friends. Julie (Libby’s mom) called me and ask if I would be able to capture the moment when Eddie proposed during the BBQ. We were ALL IN.
When we walked into the BBQ, Julie came and greeted me. Of course, we had never met anyone before, so we immediately told Libby that Julie & I were co-workers and she had invited me to the BBQ last minute! It worked, thankfully! Also – SUPER glad that Libby didn’t ask anything about work, because I had NO idea what Julie did. Ha! We blended in, and made ourselves look like guests. Also, thank the Lord for giant purses that hide multiple cameras and lenses for Kyle & I.
Now, let me have the images tell you the story of the day!
If you are looking for a photographer, we would LOVE to be a part of your wedding or celebration!

Paige & Justin are tying the knot later this month & we are SO excited to be their wedding photographers.
We got the opportunity to meet up last week for their engagement session and the sunshine showed up in all of its glory. Summertime in Seattle is my favorite. I used to be nervous to shoot in 85 degree weather with bright sunshine, but now, I welcome it. I have been loving photographing couples with the golden summer light, and these two were so comfortable in front of the camera. Can you just imagine what their wedding photos are going to look like? Already excited!
Not only was the session great, but I tripped not once, but twice during their session. The first time, I fell completely flat on my face, camera in hand. Don’t worry folks – no broken cameras or broken bones. It was hilarious, we all could not stop laughing.
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
Paige & Justin – thank you for choosing Kyle & to be your photographers! We are so grateful!

Mackenzie & Colten.
These two are incredibly in love, so happy, and the easiest to photograph.
Mackenzie is living in Montana right now, going to college, so whenever she comes back to Washington, her and Colten are all smiles! They can’t wait until they are living in the same state again! She requested a snowy engagement session, and so we were lucky enough to not only find some snow, but to find some snow FALLING!
I am so in love with this couple and with these images! We are so excited to celebrate with them at their wedding in September. Kyle and Colten are really good friends, so he will be not only helping me shoot the wedding, but will be standing by as a groomsman as well!
Kenz & Colten, THANK YOU for braving the snow and rain with us! We love you guys and are so excited for you both! Marriage is the best, and you are going to LOVE it!
Here are a few of my favorite images of these two!
