It was the last consecutive date that we would see in our lifetime. You know, unless we live to be 120+ years old, which might just happen. If I eat enough kale…Okay. Anyway! Jessica and Dan are two people who we loved being able to celebrate with. And their super cool wedding date was just the beginning of what I loved about their wedding.

When their plans for a Northwest-themed wedding were explained to me, I was TOTALLY on board with everything they had planned! First, the wedding would be held at the gorgeous Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA. Second, the guests would be friends and close family, making the wedding intimate. Third, we would be able to have freedom to shoot around the grounds at Suncadia and even in winter, would take full advantage!

This was our last wedding of 2014, and my favorite way to end the year. Since the wedding was a few hours away, we spent the weekend in Suncadia to be sure we would be there to capture all of the moments and not have to worry about travel mishaps or snowy passes. Kyle and I fell in love with the resort and plan to return for a weekend getaway in the future!

We also were able to shoot alongside our favorite videographers, TSP Video, for the wedding day. They were our videographers and our clients loved our wedding video so much that 3 of of 2014 brides ended up booking Edward, Tony, Ty Ty, & Sid for their weddings as well!

It was chilly, even though the sun was out, so we took some breaks for Jess to wrap up in a bathrobe. THIS is one of my favorite shots from the day. And I think she STILL looks like a million bucks. You ROCK that bathrobe, love!

Since Dan’s last name is Green, their tables each had a name with the word “Green” in it. LOVE it! So creative!

Jessica & Dan, THANK YOU so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding. The day was wonderful! You braved the cold and I am SO glad you did! These shots are some of my favorite to-date! Enjoy!
