Connie & Ian.

These two are full of good things. They love each other. They love their families. They laugh loud and celebrate big. Their wedding was perfection. Hidden away at the base of Mount Rainier in Ashford, WA. They rented out Alexander’s Country Inn for the weekend so their family and friends could be together for longer than just a few hours to celebrate.

Connie & I went to high school together, and we were able to photograph Ian’s brother’s wedding last year. The funny thing is, Ian and Tyler are brothers. Ian married Connie. Tyler married Kayla. Kayla and Connie are best friends and college roommates. They were even before they started dating the boys.

That means, that these sister-in-laws are actually besties. HOW FUN!

We LOVE the Zuck family and the Collins Family. We felt like not only photographers, but friends during the whole weekend. We even got to put our cameras down for a few songs and bust a move on the dance floor.

Connie actually wore her great Grandmother’s wedding gown. From the 1930’s. It looked BEAUTIFUL on her, and I think it was the perfect dress for the day.

We even got to drive into Mount Rainier National Park to snap some photos in the beautiful tress!

The reception was perfection, outside, during golden hour. Talk about a photographer’s dream. Not to mention Connie & Ian are fantastic swing dancers. Along with most of their friends. The whole night I was feeling incredibly jealous of their dance moves!

Connie & Ian, thank you again for allowing Kyle & I to photograph such an important day in your lives. We are honored to have been asked to spend the weekend documenting your nuptials! Happy First Year of Marriage! We are so happy to call you friends!
