Today, I am drinking an Irish Cream Cold Foam & sitting in my living room thinking about how much of a GIFT that 2019 was. We were able to photograph some of the most beautiful and intimate moments for our clients, and made some amazing friendships throughout it all.

I think it is important to set goals and dream big for the New Year. In fact, so much of the business and life that we have now with KLP is the result of reaching goals that I set years ago, and being consistent. But even more important, I think is to look back and reflect on all that we HAVE accomplished in a year.

We photographed 14 beautiful weddings this year. Had the opportunity to work at some venues that have been on our wish list for years. Met lots of new friends. And had the busiest booking season, right in the middle of 2019! So, that means while I was photographing and editing 2019 weddings – we were already booking almost all of our 2020 weddings. To say it was a whirlwind is an understatement. Wedding Season started for us in April and went through the beginning of November! It was a beautiful summer – and even with some crazy rainfall in the midst of it – we happened to have dry summer weddings, which was such a gift to all of our couples who had planned outdoor weddings!

Our hope is – that when you look through these images you can feel the love and joy that we got to experience with these people. What a gift to be invited into some of the most special days of their lives. Not only for our brides & grooms – but for the families and friends. We have watched parents cry tears of joy when giving toasts, we have listened to stories that have made us laugh uncontrollably from groomsmen, we have watched as friends have traveled from near and far to celebrate each wedding day. What a beautiful celebration a wedding is. We are so grateful for each one of these days.
