I love this family photo shoot. And I am so excited to share it with you!

Meet The Barnes Family. Cristina, Gabe, & Calvin.

Cristina and I were such great friends in high school, our senior year we spent all of the highlights together. From proms, to senior trip, to prepping for big tests. Cristina and her husband Gabe knew each other while we were in high school, but they didn’t start dating until after we had graduated. They have been married for a couple years and have an adorable son named Calvin.

They wanted some updated family photos, and I was so happy to be able to take them! However, there was a BIG surprise! Just a few days before our shoot, Cristina found out she was pregnant with their second baby! So she wanted to surprise Gabe at the photo shoot! I was so excited to be able to capture this moment. His reaction was my FAVORITE! He was SO surprised and so excited!

At the beginning of our shoot, I knew Cristina was DYING to tell Gabe the news. So after we snapped a few, I asked if I could take a few of just Cristina and Gabe. This is when she told him the news.
