You know the feeling when you make or do something you are proud of? Whether it is a delicious meal, a beautiful piece of art, a construction project, or even the finishing of a marathon. There is such joy that comes when you can look at the finished piece. To see the work was worth it, the sweat was worth it, the time was worth it.

This is my favorite post every year. Because it is a chance to look at a glance at my dreams that became a reality. I am a photographer. A portrait and wedding photographer. But what I really love to photograph, is the entirety of a wedding day. To be able to give a couple images that they will look back upon and be able to remember the details and memories from the day that sometimes get lost in the rush of it all.

So, friends, THANK YOU. Thank you for allowing Kyle & I to photograph such important days of your lives. For inviting us into such an intimate day and calling us friends. We are so grateful for all 16 of these couples.

Our goal was 15 weddings in 2015. A limited number to ensure that we could give our full attention to each of our brides & grooms. And it was the perfect number. We felt excited for each wedding and made some friendships that I am sure will last for years to come. We had a small wedding to start the year off, just a couple of hours, and we are so glad that we did! It was the perfect way to kick off 2015.
